Show Information:
The undisputed grand dame of flamenco and Spain’s ambassador for flamenco to the world, the whole ensemble of Ballet Nacional de España (NBE) - over 50 performers – will be on stage. La Leyenda is Antonio’s stunning tribute to diva Carmen Amaya. Two women portray her public and private sides in outstanding performances culminating in a magnificent closing seguiriya (a flamenco style). Dualia, choreographed by hot duo Rojas & Rodriguez, is a showcase of excellent ensemble castanet playing and passionate technique. NBE is at the top of their latest creative cycle and will fittingly bring the curtain down on this year’s festival.
