“THE ART OF CLOUD GATE”

Asia's most highly acclaimed choreographer LIN HWAI-MIN will accompany his Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan to Bangkok's 11th International Festival of Dance and Music.

Apart from the two highly anticipated performances of MOON WATER on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 22 and 23, Cloud Gate’s associate artistic director LEE CHING-CHUN will conduct a masterclass on Wednesday, September 23, from 11am to 12:30pm, at Thailand Cultural Centre's semi-circle room. This is for professional dancers only, and limited to 25 participants.

Later in the afternoon, from 2pm to 4pm, at Room 105,
MahaChulalongkorn Building, Chulalongkorn University, LIN HWAI-MIN will be joined by Silpathorn Award dancer and choreographer PICHET KLUNCHUN at a bi-lingual (English and Thai) public forum in which they will share their experiences in and insights on, among others, intercultural performance and dance company management. Moderated by dramatic arts professor Pawit Mahasarinand, this event is open for general public.

Co-organized by Chulalongkorn University's Master of Arts program in Cultural Management (MACM) and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, both are of FREE ADMISSION.
