The boundary-busting tale of Carmen, conceived nearly 150 years ago by Georges Bizet as an operatic tragedy that went on to move generations of theater-goers, comes to Bangkok in a sultry and completely innovative new interpretation. It’s not just flamenco dance that shakes things up here, but also profoundly reconsidered live music with singers, acting and stage craft, even lighting and ambiance.
