18 Days is an adaption of the Kurukshetra War, an epic conflict narrated in the ancient Indian scripture, the Mahabharata. Fought apporximately 5,000 years ago, it was a colossal battle betwen two factions of a royal family, the Pandavas and the Kauravas, both vying for the throne. The 18-day bloodbath unfolded on the vast plains of Kurukshetra, a sacred site in preesnt-day Haryana, India.
